I started my 2nd career in real estate as a real estate investor. I also became licensed as a Real Estate Broker to get access to the best deals available, or so I was told at the REI training camp (a course for which I paid a lot of money on the promise of making huge amounts of money fast).
I soon realized that the reality for the largest majority of investors and real estate agents is the inability to generate qualified real estate leads. For then the toughest part of the business is not only getting a sufficient flow of lead but to get a sufficient flow of qualified prospects.
Why You Need an Online Presence
Statistics show that 98% of real estate prospects start by doing their research online, and the reason they do this is because they have a problem e.g. can they afford to buy a home, how to sell their home fast, how to avoid foreclosure, how to sell their home for cash to mention a few, which they do not want to discuss with anybody because they may believe they can find the answer themselves or they need information to educate themselves. To me it made perfect sense to develop a system where I provide the answers to these people and get them to reach out to me for help so we can then establish a manually beneficial partnership where I solve their problem and they become my client.
To build an online presence I had only 2 options. Pay someone to do it (and with all the scams around, running the risk of losing more money) or learn how to do it myself. I chose the latter and I joined an online marketing coaching community.
It took hard work and dedication but within a short space of time I started generating real estate leads daily and now I am generating massive numbers of real estate leads from prospects looking to do business with me and my team. (Special note: This is real qualified prospects reaching out to my team for assistance)
How Many Leads a Day?
Within a year I was generating more than 10 qualified real estate leads a day and this allowed me to select the best ones for myself and my team and refer the access leads to other agents and investors (at a fee).
During my journey I not only discovered how to identify problems facing prospects, how to attract qualified prospects, built lead generation websites to capture prospect leads, but also to learn SEO, keyword research, free marketing and more. I since developed other niches and also published two ebooks that are for sale online (making me money 24/7), while still doing real estate full time.
I feel truly privileged to pass this experience on to everybody looking to achieve success online. Remember success leaves clues and I am grateful to still be part of such a dynamic online community.
